In this role, you will be responsible for attractively displaying fruits and vegetables, checking the freshness and quality of products, and advising customers on their purchases. As a Produce Department Associate, your day starts with checking inventory and restocking the shelves. You ensure the department looks clean and inviting. You remove products that are no longer fresh and ensure correct pricing and labeling. Additionally, you answer customer questions, provide advice on seasonal products, and help them make the right choices.
You will work closely with colleagues from other departments and contribute to a pleasant working atmosphere. You are flexible and available to work evenings and weekends. Experience in retail or with fresh products is a plus, but not required. More important is that you are customer-friendly, detail-oriented, and willing to work hard.
